Yay it’s Friday! Totally loving all the gorgeous maternity session submissions we’ve been getting lately. Brenda Landrum here makes her expectant momma look like a goddess with the mix of golden light and long flowing dresses. She also does a beautiful job of incorporating her client’s 7 year old son – I’d love to know how she got him to give her that look in that first photograph.

Everything was just perfect that evening with the location, sunlight, and their excitement! I had photographed this family before, last time when their son was only a week old and now he is 7. At first their son was a bit unsure of me so my tip is to just talk to them. Find out their interests, talk about their friends, and show them your camera. Especially boys!! They love to see what fun toy you are using to photograph them and then they start to loosen up.
