Inspire: Mini Session Ad by Bubbles n Puddles Photography

This session was photographed by Chantena of Bubbles n Puddles Photography to show what she could offer for her mini sessions. Everything from the quilted tent to the make-believe fire fits together perfectly. I especially love the clothing choices – not only does it mirror the overall camping theme but everyone coordinates together as well without looking matchy-matchy.

From Bubbles n Puddles Photography: I shot this session to show an example of what to expect for some mini-sessions I am offering. So I built a camp, took 4 of the most amazing kids I know and created Vintage Summer Camp. I was worried it wouldn’t work out that day, the weather called for evening showers but I took the chance anyway. It didn’t rain, it was a beautiful mild evening. I wanted something that was bright and colorful but with a warm feel – something that made you excited when you saw it – like, “I have to schedule that for my child.” We had marshmallows, pretend fire, an awesome tent, and a cool location. The tent was made out of old quilts, old quilt tops, and lace curtains that I found at my mother’s house and thrift stores. It had that homemade vintage look like a child had put it together. As for the kids, they were wild as usual, but they gave me exactly what I was looking for. A little excitement always makes it fun!

I also made a color palette for the session and posted it under the photos. To me that added a little something fun so the readers of the blog could look at the colors and try to find them in the post :-). Visit the post here.
