If you are a newborn or baby photographer – and really, if you’re any type of photographer who would love to gain insight – this giveaway is for you!

Here’s your chance to win a 1 Hour Sype mentoring session with Laura Brett Photography.

During your 1 hour session you can ask any questions; questions about camera settings, business & marketing, pricing, posing – anything you can think of she will answer. Perfect for those that wish to attend Laura’s Baby Business mentoring and workshops, but not able to travel.

Please note that she will not have a newborn on hand to demonstrate posing, but will do her best to describe the different poses. The 1 hour Skype mentoring session is only available to photographers outside a 180 mile radius of Atlanta & 120 mile radius of High Point, NC.

If that wasn’t great enough, the second place winner of this giveaway receives Laura Brett’s complete action set!

After having my youngest children, I have fallen in love with photography but it is following Laura on facebook that has inspired me to kick it up a notch. For my son’s 4 month photo. I purchased a scarf and set him by the window and got the most amazing photos all thanks to her inspiration. I’m from Croatia where newborn/baby photography, in the sense that is already traditional in USA, is just starting out. That said, there’s naturally tons of questions I would ask Laura : how to market to the uninitiated clients – the ones not accustomed to custom photography services at all, how to prepare for the session as a photographer, basics of posing and of course the digital workflow in a nutshell. This would be such a great way to spread some good photo vibes on the other side of the Pond as well, ….just sayin’ ;-)

I would love to know what settings she uses on her camera to get those creamy skin tones.. I think as a photographer thats the most important thing to get down when taking photos of anyone for that matter. It would be great to have a starting point and work from there depending on the lighting. :)

Oh my gosh! I seriously love her and follow her work daily. I have so many questions I want to ask her. My husband is in the Army and we are stationed in Germany so I keep missing out on her mentoring sessions. I want to take them SOOO BAD!!! Skype session would be perfect for me. One question is about her lighting. Also about positioning her boppy and beanbag. So much more I want to know :) Thanks so much for the chance to win!!! <3

I’d have a whole list of questions (I’ve just started my own studio/I’m in Canada) – but the top question would be about how she does the composites for some of the more complex poses. I start out fine… but baby always seems to shift way beyond what I can use for a composite! Maybe I need to hire an assistant or two :) I’d also ask about some of her marketing ideas for a new studio. Thanks for a great giveaway!
