It’s been a while since we featured a newborn session on Inspire Me Baby and this newborn twins session by Stephanie Robin is just stunning. The soft, natural materials and delicate use of pink and lavender compliment the simplicity of poses and natural lighting. These newborn twins are so peaceful and cute in their crocheted lambswool cocoon and Stephanie makes it look easy!
The family portrait is a beautiful moment of two new parents in awe of their little miracles and mom looks lovely in a simple black wrap against a black background. Its especially remarkable when you think how little sleep these parents are getting. Please leave your comments and questions below and be sure to check out Stephanie’s website as well. It reflects a consistent approach to professional presentation and elegance. I love her music selection as it showcases a complimentary art form and embodies the same relaxed beauty as her newborn photography.

Ally and Elin were an absolute dream to photograph. Scheduled on one of the hottest of our summer days at just 6 days of age, they slept the entire 4 hour session, waking only once for a quick feed and cuddle. My favorite part of this session had to be the parents adoration for their wee little babes. I simply love seeing the look on the parents’ faces watching their sweet little babies during their sessions. These parents in particular were just so thankful and so in love. It truly was contagious.
My tips for photographing twins would definitely be an oversized beanbag (I use the Shoot Baby Beanbag), some simple but well made wraps (the vendor for the featured blue wrap is Silky Knits http://www.etsy.com/shop/silkyknits) and lots of extra hands for safety and support.

Hi Heather. Just seeing your questions now…
These were actually all shot with natural light. No flash used. :)
