Golden Fields

I am pretty sure this little girl knows how pretty she is and she’s not afraid to show off!  Perhaps a modeling career ahead?  Either way, she makes for a gorgeous subject in this beautiful toddler session by Kristen Privett Photography.  Kristen says that reaching out to local businesses can lead to interesting new leads that you wouldn’t have expected; what types of local businesses do you reach out to?  Leave a comment below!

I met the owner of Heavenly Avonlee after bugging her on etsy.com for some of her fabulous hairpieces to use for newborn sessions. It just happens that the owner, Cambria, is just the sweetest thing, and her daughter, Avonlee, is so adorable & stunning and naturally has become the face of her brand modeling her hairpieces. We have been working together for a bit for photographs for her of products. When I received my teepee, I knew Avonlee would be perfect for it. Cambria and I already had a session lined up for some photographs of Avonlee, so thankfully Cambria was excited about the idea too. Heavenlee Avonlee’s website is, http://heavenlyavonlee.com

Most of my photography mentors have told me how connecting with local businesses is always a plus for your business. Had I not reached out to Cambria, we wouldn’t have been able to help each other and meet!

Gear Used:
Most of these images were taken 1 hour before sunset, using my Nikon D700 and 105mm 2.8. macro, a few with a 50mm 1.4. I made minor adjustments in both Lightroom and Photoshop, however I emphasize minor. I’m personally drawn to clean images so that is how I usually process!
