A Birth Story

One of the many challenges of birth sessions is getting enough good shots that tell the complete story of the day, mainly because your window of opportunity can be very small.  But check out some of the great “non-action” shots that Kylee Ann Photography comes up with here in this beautifully done birth session if you need some extra inspiration!

I fllllew to the hospital (which is only 3 minutes away) and I’m glad I did because Whitney was going so fast! They checked in at the hospital at 8:45. I got there at 9:05. She went from a 3 to an 8 in those 20 minutes with no epidural yet. Finally, the epidural came and she returned to her calm, happy and mostly relieved self. A few minutes later she started to push…3 times to turn the baby (because she was head up) then 1 to push her out. Around 9:45 (1 hour after check-in) they were holding sweet Cecelia Rose in their arms.
